A new superintendent has been hired as the new leader for the State School For the Deaf in Devils Lake.  Donna Sorensen began work at the school earlier this month according to State School Superintendent Kirsten Baesler.  Baesler says Sorensen's previous experience includes serving for eight years as outreach director and superintendent for the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind in Great Falls.  Sorensen replaces Dr. Connie Hovendick as superintendent at the school.  Hovendick retired earlier this summer.
